About Me
How did I create Coblasteus? (As in the name)
The namesake was made after hearing about the cytoplasm, which is the clear gel the cell membranes are in. I was then like, "hmmm… cobalt…" and then I combined the two together. I was planning to make the name Cobaltplasm, but there's already some artist on Pinterest with the same name, so I decided to combine "Cobalt" and "plasm" together, making "Coblasm". I then added some fluff; therefore, turning it into the final result: Coblasteus.
How to pronounce "Coblasteus?"
"ko-blast-tius".
Who am I?
I am Cobalt, known online as Coblasteus (or Nocind in a music context). I am an artist, editor, musician, and aspiring digital creator. In my free time, I watch YouTube videos, play video games like Minecraft, chat with friends on Discord and other things like that.
I created my channel on April 29th, 2023. I made a few gaming videos during this time and got a humble fanbase. However, I didn't want my channel to just be about Minecraft. So, I began learning modern day Blender (I used to use Blender 2.7x). Nowadays I use Blender for 3D animation, modelling, and video editing. I feel like I could be more expressive in my passion by making entertainment videos instead of gaming videos.
What are my influences/favorite artists? (Music)
Right now, it's Michael Jackson, Muse, Jamiroquai, Daft Punk, prodBigMike, and a few others. But that is subject to change (last updated 28th September 2026). The reasoning behind these choices is because their music potrays different emotions and manipulated sound in some of the most innovative ways.
What are your influences beyond music? And what do you want to do to influence the world?
One of the major influences that have changed me is the Pinterest app. All the artists there are so talented, and it has motivated me to work on, study, analyze, and just enjoy the world of art. I don't have a specific one artist that has influenced me, but if I had to choose, I think it'd come down to two people; the popular creator PixelzwithaZ for 3D animation influence, and one of my artist friends, Menti, for helping me with improving my detailing and helping with giving me a more consistent way to draw my character.
Nocind Questions
Why did I choose the name Nocind for my music?
I mixed two random words (nocturnal and kind) and combined them together. It was originally the name of a character in an idea, but I decided to take the name for myself. My name doesn't actually mean anything though, unless you're in a different timezone...
How do you pronounce "Nocind?"
It's not "Nosind" as most people initially pronounce it. It's actually pronounced "Nokind". Basically, it's pronounced "no-kind", not "no-sind".
take a load of this guy lol
